Chat Commands

Advanced chat commands allow you to do many things. There are unlisted commands in the menu, group commands and advanced feeding commands. Below you will learn all of the commands, how to use them and what they do.

To use chat commands you must speak on channel 3. To do this you would /3 before your message.

Example: /3 text on

Commands List and Use

“/3 text on” – Turns all text On on fish in chat range.

“/3 text off” – Turns all text Off on fish in chat range.

“/3 all home” – Returns all fish in chat range to their home point.

“/3 fish name home” – Replace fish name with your fish to send just that fish home.

“/3 bubbles on” – Turns all bubbles On on fish in chat range.

“/3 bubbles off” – Turns all bubbles Off on fish in chat range.

“/3 breed off” – Turns breeding Off on all fish in chat range.

“/3 breed all owner” – Turns breeding On on all fish to owner only in chat range.

“/3 breed all group” – Turns breeding On on all fish to group only in chat range.

“/3 breed all anyone” – Turns breeding On on all fish to anyone only in chat range.

“/3 height X” – Replace X with the height in meters to set the height on all fish in chat range.

“/3 radius X” – Replace X with the radius in meters to set the radius on all fish in chat range.

“/3 radiusx X” – Sets the radius on the X plain

“/3 radiusy X” – Sets the radius on the Y plain

“/3 all start” – Turns movement On on all fish in chat range.

“/3 all stop” – Turns movement Off on all fish in chat range.

“/3 fish name menu” – Replace fish name with name of fish you wish to have the menu open.

“/3 group uuid” – All fish in chat range will give you their name and uuid for your records.

“/3 phantom on” – Turns On phantom for all fish in chat range.

“/3 phantom off” – Turns Off phantom for all fish in chat range.

“/3 set all home” – Sets the home point for all fish in chat range to their current location.

“/3 tail on – Turns tail movement on. (Requires /3 all stop prior to command if fish are swimming)

“/3 tail off” – Turns tail movement on. (Requires /3 all stop prior to command if fish are swimming)

***Please note that Second Life® chat range is default to 20 meters. You may use whisper(10 meters) and shout(96 meters) to adjust the range you say your commands. When using a channel other than “0” you will not see your chat come up in your browser.
